Kevin grew up in the scrap metal industry in Southern California. He worked for Federal Metals (owned by his father Gary Armstrong) during the summers starting from 15 years old. A graduate in Business at Occidental College, Kevin brings years of leadership and expertise in the scrap metal business. He has knowledge in all aspects of the industry, and handles the sales of all material as well as purchasing. Kevin is responsible for the rapid growth of FMC Metals since 2008 and takes great pride in making sure that FMC is built on a strong foundation of integrity and professionalism.
VP of Purchasing
Octavio is a California native who brings over a decade of purchasing experience to FMC. After graduating college at University of California Riverside, he began his career in scrap metal and has amassed a large network of suppliers throughout Southern California and the Southwestern United States. Fidel Del Toro
Fidel has been in the scrap metal industry for over 35 years and is the epitome of what FMC stands for. Hired by Federal Metals in the 1980’s, Fidel worked his way up the ladder and now manages over 20 people in day-to-day operations. Fidel brings skills to FMC that are invaluable and he is dedicated to making FMC the best run and most efficient scrap yard in Southern California.
Office Manager, Controller
Denise comes to FMC with over 10 years of experience in HR and accounts payable/receivable. A Los Angeles native, she is very detail oriented and committed to customer service. She is responsible for all accounting needs and documentation. Denise is very friendly and enjoys working with our customers each day.
